For a little less action and a little more relaxation, be sure to make the most of unlimited access to the wellness facilities in the resort. From heated indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, jacuzzis, and hammams, you’ll find complete serenity breathing in the mountain air in a hot pool as you enjoy just being away. Arc 1950 is home to the Deep Nature Spa which overlooks Mont Blanc and the ski resort offering Norwegian showers, a volcanic and frosted cave, Nordic outdoor baths plus massages and treatments for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. Sports and activities are included - including the ‘Happyz’ treasure hunt aimed at young families - look out for the little bee when you get there.
Skiers of every caliber are welcome at Les Arcs and with over 425 km of pistes and 258 runs to explore and the joys of ski-in, ski-out, there’s a slope suited to everyone at many different altitudes. Adventure-seekers will enjoy the descent after scaling the infamous Aiguille Rouge, the highest point within the ski area of Les Arcs. Take on the challenge of skiing the expansive Paradiski area in a day - it’s the second largest ski area in the world and connects Les Arcs with Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne or head out to The Vallée de l’Arc, a wide valley with a majestic view of Mont Blanc that everyone will enjoy. The Les Arcs ski area is also adapted for children who will have free access to the Premières Glisses. From beginner offers to premium passes, you can tailor your family’s passes to your trip and skiing skill levels. The Yéti Camp is perfect for your little ones to start learning about the slopes and there are ski lessons for all ages that start in the resort centre.
There’s lots more to do if the slopes aren’t calling you. With free entertainment and events, the kids can enjoy snow sculpture workshops, mini golf and scooter races on the snow plus Christmas parties and firework displays. There’s also no shortage of fun in the evening with the village turning into an open-air dancefloor every Thursday for concerts, freestyle air shows and nightclubs and bars for grown-ups. There’s also a Village Igloo polar world which the whole family will love. Head to the ice grotto for snowball fights, frosty aperitifs, or a night spent on snow beds. Arc 2000 - the village above Arc 1950 - is only five minutes away and offers new activities including paragliding at the Speedriding School to toboggan runs, snowshoeing and snake gliding.
Nearby village Pré St Esprit also offers sled dog outings which the kids will love. For something a little more special, discover Paradiski by sky in a helicopter ride around Mont Blanc - it will be a family memory for a lifetime.
For summer breaks, you’ll be greeted by festivals, camps and a myriad summer sports to choose from like mountain biking, canyoning and rafting and archery. Discovery walks, 18 hole golf course (Arc 1800), horse-riding, mini-glof, tennis and the zip wire are available too.
