There are four lovely cottages at Partridge Lodge. The Farm House is a grand house sleeping up to nine guests in four generous bedrooms, with an optional single room. With its original beams, an AGA, wood burner, two sitting rooms and a private garden with a hot tub it oozes character and luxury. The Dairy Hall sleeps nine guests in five bedrooms. You’ll find a vaulted barn space (often used as a spectacular dining room), a warming wood burner, two sitting rooms and a luscious private garden. The striking timber-clad Granary boasts a bright open living space, enclosed decking with a sandpit and two stunning bedrooms accommodating four guests. The king size master bedroom features a balcony overlooking the pond. The Stables are the smallest and most contemporary cottage, sleeping two with the option of adding a travel cot and sofa bed for an extra fee. The open-plan living and bedroom features chic, bespoke furniture and excellent views over neighbouring fields.
All located around a pond teeming with life, with larger lawns and a tennis court too, it’s impossible not to relax in the gorgeous natural setting. Larger groups can opt to book the Farm House, Dairy Hall and Granary as one, for exclusive use of the whole Partridge Lodge site. As parents themselves, owners Aaran and Sarah know that travelling with kids can lead to heavy and bulky packing which would be great to avoid. For that reason you’ll find a brilliant array of baby and toddler equipment available; from stair gates through to high chairs, there’s a lot on offer. All the properties have travel cots on offer, with the added bonus of a fixed cot in the Farm House and Dairy Hall. Other thoughtful touches include high quality bed linens and fluffy towels, with practical facilities like tumble dryers and dishwashers also helping to make family breaks that little bit easier.
