Formerly a granary, the historical property is packed with character and a welcoming feel. Beneath original timber beams and the odd vaulted ceiling, you’ll find large communal spaces beautifully decorated. There’s a large kitchen with a breakfast bar, a separate dining room for memorable meals and a living room with two seating areas – ideal keeping the kids and their toys, games, etc. in one contained space, but still within ear and eyeshot. Despite the building’s age, large windows and french doors keep the rooms light and bright, whilst a wood burning stove keeps the place cosy. Through the patio doors, you’ll find fabulous outdoor areas, including a delightful west facing patio, a landscaped secluded garden, complete with a gas barbecue perfect for cooking up al fresco feasts, and two brilliant hot tubs awaiting a relaxing morning soak, or an evening of star gazing in luxury.
Upstairs the 14 guests are accommodated in six immaculate bedrooms with brilliant views across the surrounding fields. Divided across three areas accessible from different staircases, the layout is ideal for offering families their own privacy and peace at night. The six bedrooms consist of two twin rooms, three king size doubles and a family room with two king bedrooms in one large room. The family room is accessed via an external stair, and benefits from its own ensuite shower room. A further two contemporary bathrooms offer a second shower and a bath with an overhead shower. Great for maintaining those all important bed and bath routines. If you are travelling with very little guests, travel cots and highchairs are available upon request. Fluffy towels (with extras for the hot tub) and crisp bed linens are provided in every room.
